At the Climbing lab we have a range of sessions based around your childs age and level of experience. Our lessons start at 5 years old and progress to national competition standard.

NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme) is a UK-wide initiative designed to introduce any children aged 7 and up to the exciting world of bouldering through a structured and comprehensive curriculum. We also have a pre NICAS class called Pebbles starting at 5 years old.

A NICAS logbook is used to record climbs and track the progress of your child. The logbook allows the child to progress at their own level and pace. An emphasis is put on knowledge and experience rather than ability.

We offer a variety of classes tailored to all ages and skill levels. Each NICAS session is led by an experienced in-house instructor dedicated to helping your child progress while ensuring they have plenty of fun along the way. These structured classes feature the same instructor and group of kids each week, providing consistent guidance and camaraderie to build confidence.

All of our Instructors are first aid and child protection certified, DBS checked, and have the relevant coaching qualifications to teach our sessions. We keep the same instructors on the sessions wherever possible to give consistency to the progression of the group.

£42 per Month

We have priced our lessons based on 46 weeks coaching a year. We have 4 weeks off for events plus 2 weeks of your choosing in the Summer. The price will remail the same each month and averages out over the year.
